One of my professors is a friend of the campus police chief, so I found out a bit more about that meth incident at Rountree.

So the kid was apparently a big fan of Breaking Bad, and tried to emulate a scene in which meth was made (haven't seen Breaking Bad myself, so I have no idea if that's true). He knew he needed lithium ion, so he pried open a battery. This got battery acid all over his hands, which, well, hurts. He grabbed some paper towel to wipe off his hands, and threw it into the plastic trash bin, which then proceeded to set on fire.

I don't remember a scene in the show where they make meth using batteries. There is however a scene where they use meth ingredients to make a battery.

AKB48 pop star shaves head after breaking band rules

A Japanese pop star has shaved her head and offered a filmed apology after breaking her management firm's rules by spending a night with her boyfriend.

A sobbing Minami Minegishi apologised to her fans and said she did not want to leave the band AKB48, in the video seen by millions on YouTube.
